Eden Valley is a 59-bed, not-for-profit, Skilled Nursing Facility that was opened for service in 1993. The Soledad Community Health Care District’s (SCHCD) mission at Eden Valley is to meet resident needs by providing quality of life amenities, superior care, and home-like surroundings.
Eden Valley Care Center is very pleased to announce that we have upgraded our rehabilitation services by teaming with Rob Snyder, Physical Therapist and owner of Rob Snyder Rehab Services. Rehab services available include physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. The goal of the “Rehab To Home” program is sending the patient home to their former activity and function.
Superior “Rehab To Home” Program!
Rob started working with Eden Valley back in November 2011 and he has already implemented significant upgrades to make our Rehabilitation Program a standard of excellence in the Valley. Eden Valley Care Center now boasts one of the finest Rehab facilities in the area!
Rob has an outstanding record of providing the finest rehab services in the Valley. We are thrilled that Eden Valley patients now benefit from his talents. Teaming with Rob means that patients with the goal of returning home can make the transition as quickly as possible.
Among the amenities at Eden Valley is the incomparable “Rosie’s Garden” that wraps around luxuriantly behind the facility providing shaded alcoves, a fountain, and a horticulturists banquet of flowers and shrubs. The Garden is a beautiful outdoor refuge and gathering place for residents.
The Garden has also become a community gathering spot creating an ongoing community connection for residents. Rosie’s Garden serves as the perfect backdrop for nursing class graduation celebrations, gatherings of the Soledad-Mission Chamber of Commerce, The Soledad Unified School District, and The City of Soledad.
The Garden also provides an ideal venue for the Administrator’s Swiss sausage barbeques, our Cinco de Mayo celebration activities, and the much anticipated Fourth of July picnic barbeque. Rosie’s Garden helps our residents continue to be part of the larger community as they, their family members and friends enjoy these many events. Rosie’s Garden and its many annual events are also enjoyed by the staff and our valued legion of volunteers.
Someone once said, “Sometimes, you just have to eat nachos.” (We’re pretty sure that it was CEO Steve Pritt who said that.) The Happy Days Soda Shop is a 50’s-style diner with red upholstered stools and a menu to match. Residents can order a burger or even a chocolate milkshake. This is one amenity that friends and families especially enjoy while visiting!
Sometimes the weather prevents residents from going outside to Rosie’s Garden so we designed a large indoor space to bring nature inside to the residents. The tall ceilings, skylights, live trees and bushes make this atrium a bright, cheerful, and popular place where residents can enjoy their Happy Days Diner treat.
Everyone likes to look their best so our fully-appointed, single chair beauty shop helps resident keep up their appearance for all the special events in Rosie’s Garden. Residents make an appointment and the licensed beautician gives them the full treatment.
When it is cold outside, our residents enjoy spending quiet time reading near the fireplace in our cozy Fireside Room. Beautifully appointed, the room serves as a meeting place for families, like a private living room where families can spend time, discuss family plans, and enjoy each other’s company.
