Soledad Community Health Care District
Foundation
The Foundation is the fundraising entity of the Soledad Community Health Care District. The Foundation is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) corporation and enables donors to support the programs and activities of SCHCD directly through tax-deductible, charitable contributions, endowments, and planned giving.
Donations to the Foundation make possible many projects that preserve and enhance Eden Valley’s unique quality of life and resident environment. The donations are used towards the betterment of resident care and beautification of Eden Valley. Donations can be made all throughout the year in memory of or in honor of a loved one and the donation envelopes can be found in the front lobby of the Center.
Donations also provide invaluable support for programs such as the Well-Baby Program at the Soledad Medical Clinic that provides prenatal education, health care facilitation, and parenting education to 500+ women each year.
Donations are currently being sought to purchase a mammography unit, a new van to transport Eden Valley residents to medical and community appointments, and our ongoing expenses related to the Well-Baby Program.
The Foundation actively seeks grants and corporate partnerships. Recent grants received include:
The Foundation appreciates the generous support of individual donors, foundations, corporations, and organizations.
